These are links to places I regularly visit, I created or I have some fondness for. They are in no particular order and will open in a new window. Enjoy!

Local Dog Parks: Ft. Woof (voted the number one dog park in America by Dog Fancy magazine readers) and Paw Pals of Grand Prarie.

Wag Time's My Space page has lots of pictures and video of pets playing at Wag Time!

Urban Animal Magazine - This is a fantastic publication! I had to call and beg to get on their distribution list since moving to Arlington. Come by to pick up a free issue anytime.

Angie's Friends - Angie's Friends is a 501(c)3 non-profit animal welfare organization established for the sole purpose of aiding neglected dogs in economically depressed neighborhoods of Dallas and surrounding communities. I created this website and wholeheartedly support Angie Manriquez in what she is doing!

Just by visiting their site daily and clicking the 'Fund Food For Animals' button, their sponsors provide food and care for a rescued animal living in a shelter or sanctuary. They even have a nifty toolbar and an email reminder.

Gone To The Dogs Obedience School

Dooty Free Lawns - I met Mike Beardsley at an event I attended recently and he was an all around nice guy. He helped me promote my business after knowing me for an hour or so - - and he quietly and routinely scooped up messes left by dogs at the event without seeking any recognition. If you need your lawn scooped, give this guy a call!

The City of Arlington Animal Services - This website is a wealth of information, has adoptables, ways to donate, tips and hints, etc. I recently met the Animal services Manager, Chrishandra Huff, and she was one of the nicest and most helpful people I know. If you are an animal lover looking for ways to help, check out the Arlington Animal Services to see how you can volunteer, donate or maybe adopt a new friend!

Operation Kindness is the oldest and largest no-kill shelter in North Texas. We routinely take up donations and collections to take to them.

Texas is offering an animal-friendly license plate for light trucks and cars. Sales of these plates will contribute to a Texas wide program that will provide grants to shelters for low-cost spay or neuter. The fee for these plates is $30 in addition to the regular vehicle registration fee. $22 of the fee will be credited to an animal-friendly account and $8 will be applied to the state for administrative costs. The success of this program is in the hands of all TEXANS, so spread the word and help save the lives of animals across our great state!

Botanically based skin care products - I love this stuff because not only does it work well, it is never tested on animals and it contains no animal products or by-products.

The Pet Care Services Association (PCSA), formerly known as the American Boarding Kennels Association (ABKA) - We are proud members and I like the information they relay on their site.
